We’re not looking for professional tailors, we’re looking for performers. If you have your idol’s appearance in your blood and want to bring his iconic moments to the stage, you’ve come to the right place. Whether you’re a beginner or an amateur actor – we want to see your energy!

Conditions of participation
- If you are unable to attend the award ceremony, please report to the information stand and leave your contact details.
- Prizes willNEVERbe forwarded abroad!
- By registering, you give us permission to stream your performance live and use the videos.
- Cosplays may be bought, borrowed or self-made.
- Gejinkas, genderbends and variants are allowed as long as they are officially published. OCs are not permitted.
- Shorts or “safety pants” must be worn under skirts or dresses.
- Obviously violent or pornographic images will be disqualified.
- Last minute registrations on site areNOTpossible.
- Violations of the competition rules can lead to exclusion from the competition!

Forms of participation and stage time
- Participation: Individually (1 person), as a duo (2 people) or as a group (from 3 people, maximum 7 people)
- Stage time: 1 – 3 minutes (individual), 1 – 5 minutes (duo), 1 – 7 minutes (group)
- Stagehands: Helpers are allowed, but must not contribute too much to the performance (e.g. only setting up).
- Costume: Manga, Anime, Games, Movies, J-Rock, J-Pop
- The maximum stage time may not be exceeded.
- Accompanying music and stage directions must be submitted with the application.
The evaluation takes place in one round:
One round takes place on stage (evaluation of the performance).
This competition focuses on the acting skills of the cosplayer. The aim is to portray the character’s essence true to the work.
Competition procedure
- All participants mustpunctual 15min. bevor the start of the competition at the meeting point. Groups must be complete (attendance will be checked). A no-show is considered a withdrawal. The map of the meeting point will be sent with the start number.
- If the participant needs someone to look after their personal belongings, this person may also stay in the backstage area. If necessary, the competition management must be consulted.
- All participants should not leave the stage immediately before the start of the performance and afterwards! A group photo of all participants follows!
- Cosplayers will receive astarting number after registration. This starting number isbinding, as it determines the order of appearance on stage.
- We kindly ask all cosplayers not to use the sanitary facilities as changing rooms.
As changing rooms are only available to a limited extent, we kindly ask you to dress, style and apply make-up at home or in your hotel room if possible.
This is how the competition works on stage:
- Presentation of the jury
- Presentation of the performances
- Stage appearances according to starting numbers
- After the last participant, group photo of all cosplayers (approx. 3 minutes) on stage
- Bow and exit from the stage.
Evaluation process
- The evaluation takes place on stage.
- The jury awards points on the basis of the evaluation sheet for the overall appearance and selected details in the acting performance. The focus is on the acting skills; the aim is to portray the character’s essence as faithfully as possible.
- The winner is the participant or team with the highest total number of points.
- Each participant is allotted 5 – 10 minutes, depending on the number of participants and the size of the groups.
- There is no separate category for group sizes. The best show is victorious.
