AniNite is the largest anime convention in Austria.
That is a fact. The only question is: “Who do we have to thank for such a great event?”

The AniNite team consists of volunteers. We work the whole year without earning a cent. Our reward is the thanks and enthusiasm of our visitors. This enthusiasm is contagious and leads to more visitors coming every year. That’s why we need more volunteers every year to strengthen our existing team.

As mentioned, we are unfortunately unable to pay salaries. Instead, we try to express our gratitude in other ways. Therefore, there will be a really great party for all helpers a few days/weeks later as a thank you.
Certificate of employment!
With credit for years of service: Each crew member can receive a “certificate of service”. It could say: “Ms/Mr X was shift manager for the AniNite bar. She/he coordinated her/his bar shift with five employees. etc…”.
Doesn’t that sound good if you have to apply for a job? We can also try to ensure that your work for the association can be counted as an internship for your studies.
All-inclusive stay!
As an employee, not only do you get to the event for free, there are also free drinks (except for energy drinks, alcohol and imported goods) and free food for all employees.

Many friendships have already been made in the AniNite team. This is THE opportunity to get to know nice people and experience something with them.

Because we want many motivated employees, we have set ourselves limits.
What we want from you:
Commitment and enthusiasm!
Active implementation of the basics of personal hygiene and a command of the German language are a MUST for all helpers.
Minimum age!
Crew members should be at least 16 years old. Otherwise we need a personal and written declaration of consent from parents. People who handle money must have a good head for figures and be at least 18 years old.
You must be physically and mentally fit for your assigned area of work.
Please understand that although you are not paid, the job still has to be done and many people rely on you.
Set-up and dismantling are also part of the job.
